Roast Beef and Red Wine Jelly Bites
Irresistible and classic in flavour, these hearty roast beef Ritz bites with P’Tit Quebec Very Mild Cheddar are sure to get any party started.

Ingredients
- 150 g P’Tit Quebec Very Mild Cheddar Cheese
- 36 Ritz Original Crackers
- 5 oz (150 g) shaved roast beef slices, quartered
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) red pepper jelly
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) fresh thyme leaves
Directions
- Cut cheese into very thin slices widthwise, then cut in half lengthwise.
- Top each cracker with piece of cheese, piece of roast beef and dollop of red wine jelly. Garnish with thyme.
- Arrange on serving platter.
Tips
- Substitute Ritz Original Crackers with Triscuit Original Crackers.
- If preferred, arrange all ingredients on a serving board as a charcuterie spread instead of arranging individual canapés.
- Substitute red pepper jelly with red wine jelly for a sweeter option. Top with prepared horseradish, grainy mustard or garlic aioli for additional flavour if desired.
- Substitute thyme with fresh rosemary or chives.
